Tuana Steps
The word Tuana means “the first raindrop falling from heaven”, but to us it means much more: friendship, fellowship and togetherness; seven regions and seven cultures, from east to west. One big family with whom we share our bread and water, our joys and our sorrows.

About Us
Keeping Turkish folk dance alive on stage since 2002.
Tuana Sanat Gençlik ve Spor Kulübü Derneği (Tuana Art, Youth and Sports Club Association) was founded in Ankara in 2002 to bring to light, spread and keep alive the folk traditions rooted deep in Turkish history.
Dedicated to serving Turkish culture, Tuana Art Club has appeared in many productions on private television channels and on TRT, Türkiye's public broadcaster. As the resident folk dance ensemble of the Turkish folk music programmes “Üçü Bir Yerde” (TRT 1, 2006–2007) and “Turnalar” (TRT 1, 2008–2009), it performed live for audiences across Türkiye every week.
Across Türkiye and abroad, Tuana Art Club has taken part in many events, including performances, festivals, competitions, tourism and trade fairs, and Olympic opening ceremonies.
The club works on a wide repertoire of Turkish folk dances performed across Anatolia, including Anamur, Artvin, Balkan, Bodrum, Burdur, Bursa Keles, Çiftetelli, Denizli Acıpayam, Denizli Ağır Zeybek, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hakkari, İzmir, Kahramanmaraş, Kütahya, Milas, Muş, Roman, Samsun, Siirt, Silifke, Silivri, Tokat and Trabzon.
With the repertoire, music recordings and costumes built up since 2002, the association runs its Children's Folk Dance, Youth Folk Dance Performance Ensemble, Recreational Folk Dance, Ballroom Dance, Children's and Adult Ballet, Flamenco, Sirtaki and Belly Dance classes at its dance studio in Armada Shopping Mall.
